1. Eligibility
You must be 16 or older and a current campus student, landlord/agent operating near campus, or vendor serving the selected campus community. We may refuse or revoke access at our discretion.
2. KYC verification
Before booking, paying, listing or completing checkout, you must complete identity verification. Providing false documents is grounds for immediate ban and may be reported to authorities.
3. Listings
Landlords and vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Misleading photos, fake availability and bait-pricing will result in delisting and trust-score penalties.
4. Payments
YuniPlug is a communication-first marketplace. After you connect on the platform, you arrange and settle payment directly with the other party — YuniPlug does not hold funds in escrow. Keep your own records of any payment made off-platform. Always agree terms in chat before you pay.
5. Prohibited conduct
No fraud, harassment, off-platform payment circumvention, prohibited goods (weapons, drugs, counterfeits), academic dishonesty services, or scraping. Violations result in suspension.
6. Fees
Browsing and listing are free. Vendors may subscribe to paid plans or pay to promote listings; those prices are shown clearly before you subscribe. A small platform access fee applies to unlock private chat for apartment and roommate enquiries.
7. Content & IP
You own your content. By posting, you grant us a license to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.
8. Liability
The platform is provided "as is". We facilitate transactions but are not party to them. Our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the prior 6 months.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend accounts for violations without prior notice when necessary.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
